TSJ Wine Blenders asked me to develop a site to help sell their wine locally. No flash. No forms. Just information and beautiful images that highlighted the winery’s unique flavors (raspberry, pear, and even pumpkin!).
The site was done with HTML and CSS in Adobe Dreamweaver. Check out the live site at www.tsjwineblenders.com.

Everyone wants their events to be special. I’ve become to go-to person in my circle for quick and stylyish invitations. The examples in this photo feature two of the more recent invitations I’ve created. The top one is for a college graduation party. It was a single sided, full color piece. The example below it was a single fold bachelorette party invitation.

A few years ago I approached the company that makes Spybot: Search & Destroy software and offered them my services. Although they are not using this logo, they did enjoy it. For this logo, I took the basic design the product’s existing logo and cleaned it up. I kept the magnifying glass and fingerprint motif and tied it into the typography.

Who knew that HTML, CSS, and fancy textures could tame a bridezilla? I was happy to work on this site for my sister’s wedding. The menu features rollover CSS highlights. Since the site has a lot of time-sensitive content it was important to keep the dates at top of mind. The wedding guests range greatly (grandparents and young kids) in age as well as familiarity with the web. I chose a very traditional layout to accomidate the guests that rarely use a computer. The bride and groom chose the color scheme to match their wedding decorations and invitations. Visit the live site at katieandaustinswedding.com

Working for charities has always been important to me. Helping them raise funds is even better. This is a flyer I created for CASAR Foundation, a nonprofit group in metro Detroit that helps the families of substance abuse victims. Since the project had no budget, I was forced to find a creative way to present it as a professional publication. Highlighting the high-end donated prizes and the Motown theme were effective to catch the audience’s eye while the shades of gray allowed the reader to spot the important information first.

Party Jive was a full service web site that hosted party planning content as well as sold supplies. In designing their logo, they asked that it looked elegant, yet, fun. Their customers were adults that shopped for quirky & niche themed products. The bright colors used in the logo were the colors the site used to break the sections down. The black on white (and its reverse) was used on shipping labels and promotional merchandise.
